The LPPP0052 replaces the type UV-A lamp in your Ultravation Photronic unit’s photocatalyst odor reduction module. The LPPP0052 UV-A lamp energizes the titanium dioxide molecules that coat the grid in the odor reduction module to react with airborne odor molecules and break them down into harmless and odorless components.

The manufacturer recommends you change the odor reduction modules UV-A lamps every 2 years under normal operating conditions.
