The UV625 is the 12” straight replacement lamp for Abatement Technologies, Inc.’s CAP600-UV and CAP1200-UV Central Air Purification system.

The UV625 utilizes UVGI (Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation) technology to actively “kill” bacteria and viruses by destroying their DNA. UVGI is also a part of the spectrum of electromagnetic energy generated by the sun.

The manufacturer recommends you change your UVGI long-life quartz lamp after 9000 hours (1 year) of use under normal operating conditions.

Note:
The UV625 does NOT generate any ozone output. If you own a CAP600-UVP or a CAP1200-UVP Central Air Purification system that utilizes trivalent oxygen (ozone) technology you will want to purchase the UVP625 replacement lamp.
