The UV125 is the 16” straight replacement lamp for Abatement Technologies, Inc.’s CAP50-UV, CAP100-UV, CAP300-UV and CAP300-UV1 Central Air Purification systems.

The UV125 utilizes UVGI (Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation) technology to actively “kill” bacteria and viruses by destroying their DNA. UVGI is also a part of the spectrum of electromagnetic energy generated by the sun.

The manufacturer recommends you change your UVGI long-life quartz lamp after 9000 hours (1 year) of use under normal operating conditions.

Note:
The UV125 does NOT generate any ozone output. If you own a CAP50-UVP, CAP100-UVP or a CAP300-UVP1 Central Air Purification system that utilizes trivalent oxygen (ozone) technology you will want to purchase the UVP125 replacement lamp.
